Bonfire and Halloween education resources

Safety education resources for children and young people are available on StayWise.co.uk (external website). Teachers and educators are encouraged to register on StayWise to access and deliver a variety of exciting videos, presentations and games, which support the curriculum.

Firefighters and specialist prevention education staff deliver targeted school visits - which include topics such as Halloween, bonfire and firework safety, as well as the consequences of anti-social behaviour.

GMFRS delivery staff use the bespoke 'lesson bundles' that are available to registered users on StayWise (search ‘Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service Bundle’ and select ‘GMFRS - Fireworks, Halloween and Anti-Social Behaviour’ for key stage one, two and three presentations and lesson plans), or other StayWise resources appropriate to the topic and age group.
