2025 Sea Angling News

GMFRS Sea Angling is open to all members of the Sports and Welfare Association, and the trips are subsidised by the Association, however those taking part will also incur some costs on the day towards the overall cost of the trip and there is also a limit to the numbers (8 to 12) on each trip due to the size of the boats available for charter.

The Section participate in boat trips weather permitting from Rhyl, Fleetwood, and Bridlington throughout the year with the occasional beach fishing trip added to the calendar.

Fishing trips are currently fully booked however we do offer a reserve list to ensure the boats are full due to the costs involved, anyone wishing to be considered please contact our Sports and Welfare Coordinator in the first instance to register your interest.
