Assistant Chief Fire Officer
Sarah joined GMFRS on 1 December as an Assistant Chief Fire Officer from County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service.
Starting out her fire service journey as a retained firefighter in County Durham, Sarah soon became wholetime serving in Cumbria and Cleveland before returning to County Durham.
Prior to leaving County Durham and Darlington she held the position of ACFO Service Support and latterly as Director of Emergency Response and Resilience which had responsibility for all stations, command and control, health and safety and resilience planning.
Sarah is married, enjoys going to the gym, walking, travelling and socialising.
