Van fire – Manchester
AT 7.47pm on July 5, 2017, two fire engines from Wythenshawe and Altrincham were called to a van fire in Wincanton Avenue, Manchester.
On arrival firefighters found a large van well alight.
Crews used one breathing apparatus and one jet to tackle the fire and were at the scene for around an hour.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
House fire – Manchester
AT 11.25pm on July 5, 2017, three fire engines from Gorton and Manchester Central attended a fire in a bathroom at a house in Methuen Street, Manchester. Crew wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire using one hose reel before clearing smoke from the building with a positive pressure fan.

Firefighters were at the scene for around two hours.
Kitchen fire - Stockport
THREE fire engines from Stockport, Whitehill and Offerton were mobilised to a ground floor flat fire in The Ridgeway, Stockport at 12.09am on July 6, 2017.
The fire involved a cooker in the kitchen of the property and firefighters rescued one man from the flat.
Crew tackled the fire with four breathing apparatus and one hose reel before ventilating the property with a positive pressure fan.
Firefighters were at the scene for around one hour.
