Van fire – Walmersley Road

AT 2.35am on Tuesday, June 13, three fire engines from Bury, Whitefield and Ramsbottom were called to a van fire in Walmersley Road.

When firefighters arrived they found the fire to be well alight, and spreading from the van to the garage of the house. Firefighters used two hose reel and one breathing apparatus to put it out.

Once the fire was out it was found that it was likely to have begun due to a fault in the engine compartment.
