Building fire - Manchester
On June 21 at 11:28 two fire engines from Moss Side and one from Gorton attended a fire on Denmark Street, Manchester. The fire involved the ground floor and first floor of a building and crews used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. The fire service were in attendance for fifty five minutes.
Car crash - Partington
At 12:07 on June 21 a fire engine from Irlam and Sale and the Technical Response Unit and Major Response Unit from Leigh attended a road traffic collision involving two cars on Warburton Lane, Partington. One casualty was extricated from the vehicle by fire service personnel. The casualty was conveyed to hospital and crews were in attendance for one hour and twenty five minutes.
Car Crash, Rochdale
At 15:11 hours on June 21 two fire engines from Rochdale and the Technical Response Unit and the Major Response Unit from Ashton attended a road traffic collision involving three vehicles on Smith Street, Rochdale. Firefighters rescued one casualty from a vehicle using a long board, trauma bag and step chocks. The casualty was conveyed to hospital and crews were in attendance for just under one hour.
Car crash - Ramsbottom
At 15:20 on June 21 a fire engine from Ramsbottom came across a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Bolton Street, Ramsbottom. Firefighters administered first aid to the casualty and the casualty was conveyed to hospital by ambulance. Crews were in attendance for twenty minutes.
