Teenager burnt in chip pan fire

A TEENAGER was left with burns to her hands and feet after a chip pan was left unattended at a house in Gatley.
Crews from Wythenshawe were called to Halstead Grove at 7.49pm. Although the fire was out when they arrived, trauma technicians dressed her burns until ambulance crews arrived.
They then carried out a Home Fire Safety check before the 17-year-old was taken to hospital.
