AN electrical fault sparked a small fire at a building equipment and tools hire centre in Trafford Park.
Crews from Stretford and Sale Fire Stations were called to Speedy Hire Centre in Guinness Road, Ashburton, just before 11.30am on Monday. (January 30)
Smoke was seen coming from a small portacabin on the site.
An electrical short circuit had caused a small fire involving internal wiring and a plug socket.
The crews used a dry powder extinguisher to stop the fire spreading and the damage was confined to the wiring and plug socket.
