FOUR motor homes were destroyed during a deliberate fire at an MOT garage in Atherton.
Firefighters were called to Kay Street, Hindsford, Atherton, just before 9pm on Sunday. (January 29)
The fire involved two camper vans and two caravans, all of which contained a propane cylinder.
Crews used breaking-in gear and breathing apparatus to access the vehicles which were inside the compound of an MOT test site.
Police attended the scene and early investigations found that the fire had been started deliberately.
The vans were completely destroyed.
