Radio transcript - Bonfire campaign 2007
(Male Voice)
This is the sound of a firework exploding in your face.
Sound of a bang and scream
This is the sound of a firework exploding in your face at 100th of the speed - you may be surprised at what you hear.
Sound of a firework exploding
That’s a firework exploding.
That’s the hairs burning on your face as the impact of the heat comes within reach.
You let out a blood curdling scream… as your skin fries, your eyes are singed or even blinded and you’re left with a searing pain and a whistling in your ears.
(Different male voice)
Never return to a firework once it’s been lit and never throw fireworks.
Stay safe this year and attend an organised bonfire.
