Fire Service supports Manchester Pride Festival
The 18th Manchester Pride festival is taking place on Saturday 23rd August celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender life. The event is attended by tens of thousands of people each year. Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service takes part in the event each year supporting the festival and promoting fire safety messages to the local community.

Fire Service emphasise dangers of open water
Following a number of serious water incidents in the County over recent weeks, and with the hot weather set to continue, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service has issued a safety warning emphasising the dangers of swimming in open water.
