From road traffic accidents to house fires and blazes in commercial buildings to water rescues, the action-packed series was filmed by independent company V Good Films for five. It gave the public a unique insight into the operational role of firefighters within Greater Manchester, with particular focus on crews from Broughton, Moss Side, and Philips Park.
The series used the latest technology including thermal imaging cameras, CCTV on fire engines and cameras mounted on firefighters protective equipment to enable viewers to really see what it’s like inside burning buildings, at roadside rescues and during other operational incidents often where lives are at risk.
