Manchester Equipment Adaptation Programme
This programme provides a range of equipment, such as grab rails, bath seats, walking frames and so on, to help people maintain independence in their own homes. We created a memorandum of understanding with Manchester City Council who run the programme to create the generation of 200 home fire risk assessment referrals per month. In return, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service will provide 30 referrals per month to Manchester Equipment Adaptation Programme.
