Great Turn Out for Manchester Day Parade

Over 75,000 people turned out to celebrate the first ever Manchester Day Parade with spectacular sunshine.

Families turned out in their masses to line the city centre's streets as flamboyant floats, many hand-crafted by the city's school children and community groups, brought a carnival atmosphere to Manchester.
