Damian started at Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service in November 2003. He is currently the Brigade Management Team member responsible for all IT systems including our Command and Control Systems, all communications in terms of radio, telephony, mobile phones, networking, data and anything else concerning our electronic communications.

Although he started life as an engineer, Damian entered IT nearly 20 years ago and has since built up an impressive career history. Prior to working at Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, he worked in the NHS as Head of IT for a hospital in Liverpool. He has also worked for Liverpool and Manchester Councils, as well as in the private sector for a company called CAPITA which specialised in software for the education market.
